Shungite Donut Necklace With Artisan Copper Peace Sign Bail
This shungite donut got a big upgrade with its beautiful handcrafted copper bail - an art piece in itself!
The bail was created by a copper artist from top shelf copper components that were then manipulated with pressure, temperature and chemistry. She starts with copper sheeting that gets a good old fashioned pounding, followed by a patina, solder, torching, and then finally a sealant.
The front of the bail features a peace sign, and the back is plain (see photos of both sides).
The shungite donut itself is a prime example of art by nature - full of lovely metallic specs and veins (probably pyrite) for which genuine shungite is known. It measures 40mm diameter.
In the photos, the donut is shown on black leather with a sturdy magnetic copper clasp. Upon checkout, you can choose between black or brown leather and specify your necklace length.
About the Clasp
The self-aligning Mag-Lok is an extremely strong rare earth magnet. To open the clasp, SLIDE the two halves apart - DO NOT PULL (a thumbnail is handy to get it started).
**Those with pacemakers should NOT use these magnets.
If you need a different clasp, please leave me a note during checkout - I'm happy to swap the Mag-Lok for a lobster clasp.
